Sarah Ticho Multi award winning artist; Producer & Director, SOUL PAINT (Winner SXSW Special Jury Prize)
Sarah Ticho is a multi award winning artist, strategist, entrepreneur, and change-maker operating at the intersection of health, wellbeing, and immersive storytelling. She directs and produces XR experience SOUL PAINT. Narrated by actor and activist Rosario Dawson, the piece has garnered international accolades, including SXSW Special Jury Prize in the competition and Best Health and Wellness at The Games for Change Awards and Creative Cultural Advocacy Prize for the Social Impact in Media Awards.
She is renowned for her commitment to advancing immersive technology adoption in healthcare, having led on the development of "The Growing Value of XR in Healthcare in the United Kingdom report," which led to a £20m investment through the UKRI Mindset program. Co-directing the XR Health Alliance, she champions equitable co-creation and distribution of XR and games for health and wellbeing, and continues to consult on the Mindset programme. She is the recipient of the International Virtual Reality Healthcare Association's Hero Award for her leadership and dedication to the XR healthcare community, and her efforts to support the victims of the Nashville tornado in February 2021.
Her work has been featured in Forbes, The Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, and has been seen on the BBC. She has delivered talks at festivals and institutions globally, including YouTube, MIT, Stanford University, Games for Change, Institution of Engineering and Technology, Women in Games, United Nations, Harvard Medical School, and AWE amongst others.
