Jane Knowles is Director of Public Engagement, leading the Gallery’s Exhibitions, Learning, Communications and Design programmes onsite, nationally and internationally to create exciting and meaningful opportunities for audiences. She is currently leading NG Citizens, the first nation-wide Citizens Assembly convened by a museum or gallery in the UK. Prior to this role, Jane was Head of Exhibitions at the National Gallery, and has held roles at the Royal Academy, the Horniman Museums & Gardens and Norwich Castle Museum.
