Suzanne Boccalatte Art & Design Professor, UNSW & Principal, Boccalatte
Suzanne Boccalatte has led a multifaceted creative life as designer, artist, writer, publisher and cultural strategist. In 2018, she was appointed Professor of Practice, UNSW Art & Design. She is Principal of Boccalatte, a design consultancy working with some of Australia’s most significant cultural and arts institutions, with a mission to create work that encourages curiosity, fosters culture and enriches society. She has addressed universities, and conferences on topics as diverse as future of work, design in culture, AI, creativity in uncertain times, female futures, and presented masterclasses including a design-led workshop on Asylum Seeking for The Guardian Australia. Suzanne publishes books for galleries and artists and co-edits Trunk—an award-winning compendium with contributors from the global creative community. She is represented in the collections of the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, Sydney University of Technology, Sydney, National Art School and private collections.
