Co-Founder of CultureCrowd with Penny Nagle & Conor Roche, CultureCrowd is a consultancy established to help producers in the arts and creative industries develop successful crowdfunding campaigns.
Virginia has worked in the commercial theatre industry as an awardwinning producer and general manager on productions including; The Railway Children at Waterloo Station, the Gorillaz’ pop opera Monkey Journey to the West at O2, the Royal Court’s My Name is Rachel Corrie edited by Alan Rickman & Katharine Viner, Cafedirect’s Flight 5065, on board the London Eye, the Tricycle Theatre’s The Colour of Justice - The Stephen Lawrence Inquiry edited by Richard Norton Taylor, The Vagina Monologues, Rent, Fame, Trainspotting, Marabou Stork Nightmares & Headstate from the Irvine Welsh novels; OJO/ Royal Court Theatre’s Shopping & F***ing by Mark Ravenhill, The Reduced Shakespeare Company, Graham Norton, Corcadorca’s Disco Pigs by Enda Walsh, Fever Pitch adapted from Nick Hornby’s novel.
Twice awarded the SOLT/ Stage One New Producers Award, she has acted as a trustee for Frantic Assembly & was a founder member of BAC’s Development Board.
