Stephan Gyory, as both co-owner of the Record store in Darlinghurst and president of the Darlinghurst Business Partnership has been a long-term proponent of collaboration and cooperation between small businesses, creatives and more often than not creative small business.

Having narrowly avoided a career in psychology/neuroscience to rave in warehouses, produce and promote music events, and DJ he eventually became a real life John Cusack from High Fidelity. A generalist with a habit of falling down rabbit holes, he is a film buff and massive science nerd who reads history and politics over fiction and tries (but fails miserably) to write electronic music in his spare time. He is also often accused of being an advocate for Darlinghurst.
