Nick Farnhill Founding Partner, POKE
Nick is a founding partner of POKE, a creative ‘practice’ focused on delivering original and effective interactive communications and service solutions across all digital platforms and channels. Current clients include EE, Orange, T-Mobile, Aurum Holdings, Skype, Diesel, Firefox, Mulberry, Ted Baker and BBC WorldWide.
Nick helped successfully launch POKE New York in 2007 with three new partners. Work for this new team now includes 19 Entertainment, AmericanExpress and the BBC. In 2010, Nick and the POKE partners launched Internet Week Europe and The Lovie Awards - a week long, open-source festival celebrating all the wonderful and inspiring things connected by the web's many tentacles. He Co-Chairs the festival and awards.
Nick is also an active Board Adviser for Space Studios, one of the UK’s largest arts organisations which provides support and resources to artists. He is Board Director with the National Citizen Service (NCS), an organisation helping 16 & 17 year olds to take on new challenges, learn new skills & make a difference. In addition he is founder of The 100 Project, a charitable initiative to help nurture the creative talent of tomorrow.
