Janine Collins, Principal of J9 Consulting, draws on 25+ years in national and international business development to build investment in creative industries and culture through business partnerships, philanthropy, place making, cultural tourism and commercial activities while building the capacity of cultural organisations. She has a strong track record of transforming “at risk” organisations and start-ups, building sustainable enterprises through new income streams.

Janine founded vocational training centres across Australia and overseas prior to raising funds for the human rights, education and arts sectors. Since launching J9 in 2014, she has provided strategic advice to government agencies and organisations representing First Nations, media, health and cultural sectors.

Janine has consulted in more than 20 regions of NSW and completed major projects in all states and territories. She was the Founding Executive Director of Music in the Regions, inaugural Chair of Art Byron, past Board member of Urban Theatre Projects, PACT Centre for Emerging Artists, version 1.0 and the Inner City Legal Centre. She is currently Chair, Performance Space and Board member, The Social Outfit.
