Becky Schutt

Founding Chair, Relaxed Theatre Project

Becky is Founding Chair of the Relaxed Theatre Project, a programme she established in 2012 with Society of London Theatre, UK Theatre, Ambassador Theatre Group and Prince’s Foundation for Children & The Arts designed to ensure theatre performances are (more) welcoming for people with autism, learning disabilities, or sensory or communication disorders and their families. The programme was delivered in partnership with The National Theatre; RSC; Globe; and regional theatres across the UK. A new Relaxed Concert Pilot Project is now in development with the John F. Kennedy Center for Performing Arts, Arts Centre Melbourne and Birmingham Town Hall Symphony Hall.

Becky is also Fellow of University of Cambridge Judge Business School and a cultural strategist with AEA Consulting. She has worked with over 60 international organisations, funders and governments globally, including Amman National Music Conservatory, Art Dubai, Barbican Arts Centre, British Council, CultureLabel, Digital Theatre, Galeri Petronas, Ingenious Media, London Design Festival, NBC Universal, SnapFashion, State Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow) and Tate.

She received her BA from the University of Michigan and her MBA from University of Cambridge.
