Gregory Markus - Founder, RE:VIVE

Gregory Markus is a project leader at the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision where he created and runs RE:VIVE, an archive led initiative to bring together the worlds of cultural heritage and electronic music to change the way we hear the past. Markus, raised on the outskirts of Chicago, Illinois received his BA in European Studies from the University of Iowa and MA in European Studies from the University of Amsterdam. In his time at Sound and Vision he has been involved in multiple large-scale European Union projects centered on creative re-use of heritage materials. He is a resident interviewer for Amsterdam’s Red Light Radio and serves as the EuropeanaTech community manager.
