Dylan Reed is the CEO of Communications and Experiences agency Kreate Australia, as well as a partner in the Renascence Group – the growing hospitality group behind Melbourne’s Farmer’s Daughters, Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters and Sydney’s Morena restaurants.
Dylan’s experience spans over 20 years in destination marketing, communications and events in Australia and the UK and his involvement in both Kreate and the Renascence Group see him bring to life his passion for creating enduring collaborations and partnerships.
Prior to taking over the leadership at Kreate Australia (and going on to purchase the business from its original owners) Dylan was the Manager of Melbourne Marketing at Visit Victoria – Victoria’s state government tourism marketing agency. His role oversaw the development and delivery of award winning domestic and international brand campaigns including Play Melbourne; Remote Control Tourist and Open Up to More (Melbourne’s first ever brand campaign in mainland China).
Prior to joining Visit Victoria, Dylan was based in London where he oversaw major event campaigns for London’s West End, Disney Theatrical and 20th Century Fox. Theseincluded Oxford Street and Regent’s Street’s Christmas Lights and West End Live.Earlier in his career Dylan was in tourism product development and communications atthe City of Melbourne where highlights included overseeing Melbourne’s tourism productintegration in the Main Press Centre at the 2006 Commonwealth Games.Whilst based in Melbourne, Dylan splits his time between Sydney and Melbourne withboth businesses having teams and venues/oXices in both cities. With a degree inLinguistics, Dylan is a polyglot and has a passion for learning languages, food and drink and exploring the world.
Alejandro Saravia - Founding Director & Executive Chef, Farmer’s Daughters & Morena
Chef Alejandro Saravia is well known as introducing Peruvian cuisine to Australia’s food culture as well as being a passionate ambassador for the regional produce of his home state of Victoria.
His passion for authentic food made with love, is combined with his wealth of experience gained through cooking in world-class kitchens across three continents. Alejandro’s critically acclaimed dining concept Farmer’s Daughters opened in Melbourne’s prestigious 80 Collins precinct in January 2021. With Farmer’s Daughters, Alejandro has created a cultural and gastronomic embassy in the CBD which showcases the diversity of the Gippsland region in a true farm to table experience over three levels.
In 2017 Alejandro became the official food and beverage ambassador for Gippsland Victoria on the back of the successful Renascence Gippsland program that focused on promoting this amazing Victorian region widely known as Victoria’s food bowl and for its green pastures and highly specialised producers, farmers and growers.
In 2018 and 2019, Alejandro was invited to represent the Farmer’s Daughters concept as part of the esteemed AO Chef Series at the Australian Open.
Whilst championing the local produce of Victoria’s regions through Farmer’s Daughters as well as pop-up events and culinary collaborations, Alejandro has explored the breadth of Victoria, spending time with farmers, growers, producers and makers absorbing their passion and knowledge. Alejandro’s culinary philosophy is one of fresh seasonal producethat is inspired by Victoria and tells the stories of its seasons, people and produce.In 2022, Alejandro brought his exploration of Victoria to life with the opening of Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters in the Yarra building at Fed Square. Victoria by Farmer’s Daughters explores the different regions of Victoria, traversing the state and inspiring diners through ingredients, produce and culinary stories.
In 2022 Alejandro took up a residency in Australia’s most prestigious stadium member’s dining room: the MCC Long Room at the MCG. Alejandro where he curated a Farmer’s Daughters inspired menu at the iconic destination every match day.In 2024, Alejandro opened Morena, an elevated Latin-American restaurant at 1 Martin Place in Sydney. Situated in the historic Sydney GPO building, the venue shines a spotlight on the traditions and flavours of the cuisines which make up the diverse Latin American cultures.
Alejandro's passion for authentic food made with love is combined with Alejandro’s wealth of experience gained through cooking in world-class kitchens across continents. From culinary school in Peru at the age of 16, followed by a traineeship in New York to stints in Barcelona, Paris, London and Sydney – including at the esteemed Sails on Lavender Bay –the coveted chef has worked with some of the best, including under Heston Blumenthal at The Fat Duck (London).
