Amanda Tattersall - Co-founder, GetUp.org.au & Founder, Sydney Alliance

Amanda Tattersall has been a union and community organiser for over 20 years and is now using all that experience to host a globally focused, “This American Life” style podcast called the ChangeMakers.

She co-founded GetUp.org.au – Australia’s largest digital campaign organisation and founded the Sydney Alliance – Australia’s broadest and deepest coalition of not-for-profit organisation. She wrote Power in Coalition based on her PhD that compared community coalitions across the United States, Canada and Australia.

She is also a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the University of Sydney researching strategies for organising in cities around the world.
