REMIX Agency was commissioned by Cambridgeshire County Council to identify opportunities for commercial revenue as it opened its new Cambridge Central Library in the heart of the Grand Arcade, a major £220 million retail development for the city.
A holistic approach required our involvement in a wide range of project areas: mission and branding, customer journey design, service design, digital presence and commercial opportunities.
We provided recommendations, and facilitated introductions to local entrepreneurs and other delivery partners to kick-start implementation.
As with other capital projects we have worked on, it is essential to work across all aspects of the project to truly embed innovation and ensure joined-up consistency across departments. Specialists can then work within the overarching boundaries and limitations of the strategy to ensure it has maximum impact.
