Oke Okaro - Global Head & GM of Mobile and Connected Devices, Bloomberg

Oke Okaro has been at the forefront of the U.S. mobile content industry since 2001 when mobile operators in the U.S. were starting to roll out data networks and the first wave of data services.

During this time, Okaro has established a distinguished track record by creating multiple pioneering, industry leading and award winning mobile products that have transformed established businesses and built new ones at ESPN and Bloomberg L.P. The mobile products Okaro created are used by more than 55 million unique users every month.

Okaro is Global Head and General Manager of Mobile and Connected Devices at Bloomberg L.P. Prior to Bloomberg, Okaro started ESPN's mobile business and led that business as well as ESPN.com's video business internationally and ESPN's connected TV business. Earlier in his career, Okaro was a strategy consultant in the media/ telecoms space and software developer building fixed income derivative trading systems and wireless warehouse automation systems. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School (2002) and BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Hertfordshire, England (1996).
