The School of Life is a cultural enterprise offering good ideas for everyday life, featuring events, content and a shop. They approached REMIX Agency to help reinvent their online presence, with the aim of creating a digital experience to match the exceptional quality of their offline events and services.
REMIX Agency was commissioned to build a new website, including integration of content management, e-commerce store, event ticketing (including waiting lists), instore EPOS system, their existing ERP system and restricted permissions for international access. Design is intrinsic to their brand, so we worked with a ‘flair’ designer as well as a UX specialist to ensure their online presence truly reflected their offline experience.
Like many organisations, the School of Life is multi-faceted with a wide range of services and audiences. The online challenge was to provide technology flexible to fully accommodate all of its services (content, events, products, consulting) whilst facilitating a seamless customer experience.
Similarly, as a rapidly growing business with international components, flexibility and room for future extension was built into our technical approach from the outset.
