Sharon Ament - Director, London Museum

Sharon is part of the exciting endeavour that is London Museum, one of Europe’s biggest single museum developments. The first phase is due to open in 2026 in Smithfield, it’s a partnership of many. As Director Sharon has overseen the project working with an exceptional team of designers, curators, architects, thinkers, doers and dreamers. London Museum in Smithfield sits beside London Museum, Docklands as part of the London Museum group and will soon be joined by the “Classroom in the Clouds” a London Museum learning centre at the top of what will be the UK’s tallest building.

Currently Sharon sits on the International Advisory Board of the Art Science Museum in Singapore, she is a part of the Conseil Scientifque of UniverScience in Paris, she is a Noyce Fellow, a Member of the Bakers’ Company, and in the little time left for herself is a cyclist, environmentalist, knitter, gardener and lover of the French language which she is getting to know more thoroughly. And she loves birds, especially pigeons.
