Laura Kriefman - Mass Crane Dance/ Guerilla Dance Project and The Space/ WIRED Creative Fellow

Laura Kriefman is an award winning Choreographer. She is a 2015 WIRED/ The Space Creative Fellow and a 2011-2012 Fellow of the Clore Cultural Leadership Programme. Her Company, the Guerilla Dance Project [www.guerilladanceproject.com] are an innovative dance company resident at the Pervasive Media Studio in Bristol who specialise in Augmented dance: the fusion between movement and technology. Recent work includes Crane Dance Bristol [www.masscranedance.org]. Previous work has been seen world wide including Brazil, Ireland, Croatia, USA,  Indonesia, China, Germany and the Netherlands and has been featured in Wired, Huffington Post, The Guardian, and published by MIT press, in Molecular Aesthetics. Recent awards include: Outstanding Contribution to Innovation – Media Innovation Award 2013; Best Exhibition/Event- Media Innovation Award 2013; Royal Television Society Award for Best Digital Innovation 2012; and an Honorary Mention, Prix Des Arts, Ars Electronica.
