The Dots is a social network for creatives – connecting Makers, Doers, Fixers and Dreamers – collectively creating a better future.

This is enshrined in their stated mission that the Dots hopes to connect 1 million creatives to jobs over the next few years.

Founder Pip Jamieson launched the platform in 2014 and it was born out of a passion to make the creative industries more open and diverse.

Looking to the future, with the rising march of automation – she believes creativity is our secret weapon. Soon machines will drive, serve customers, code, clean, manufacture, do our accounts and legal work. What are humans still good for? Creativity! So if we want our children and grandchildren to have jobs and make our economies thrive, we need to support those Makers, Doers, Fixers and Dreamers that bring creative ideas to life.

That is what The Dots is all about; connecting, supporting and championing the people, teams and companies that make ideas happen.

Thousands of companies use The Dots to hire and discover creative talent including Google, Spotify, Airbnb and Twitter and it was also named App of the Day by Apple.
