Verity McIntosh Director & Principal Investigator, Immersive Arts (£6m UK-wide programme for artists exploring immersive tech)

Verity McIntosh is Director and Principal Investigator of Immersive Arts, a £6m, UK-wide programme of research, training, funding and events designed to support artists exploring the potential of immersive technologies. She is also Associate Professor of Virtual and Extended Realities at the University of the West of England.
Verity's research includes inclusive and accessible experience design in XR, the ethics of presence, and the preservation of human rights in multi-person, spatial computing paradigms. She works closely with creative practitioners, companies, communities, policymakers and governments around the world.
