Richard joined iCITY in 2010 where he was responsible to developing strategy strategy and led the bid negotiations with the Olympic Legacy authorities. Since summer 2012, Richard has led the commercial negotiations with all potential tenants and occupiers for the 1m sq ft space that comprises the iCITY development, which will be home to organisations include Loughborough University, Infinity SDC and BT Sports.

Richard’s business development career started in the retail sector where he worked initially for Jim Slater and went on to develop and sell three different retail businesses.
