Miriam Kelly Curator and Collections Coordinator at Artbank
Miriam Kelly is the Curator and Collections Coordinator at Artbank. Prior to taking up this position in 2013, she was Assistant Curator of Australian Paintings and Sculpture at the National Gallery of Australia, Canberra, where she curated the nationally touring exhibition, Capital and country: The Federation years. Miriam is has written and presented on the work of Australian artists from colonial to contemporary, and is currently working on an exhibition of new work by four emerging artists for Firstdraft, Sydney (December 2014), as well as a focus collection show for the Artbank Gallery (March 2015). Miriam is the sub-editor of Sturgeon, Artbank’s new magazine on art and culture, and a co-editor of Hester, a new online journal of art, language and design due for release in June 2014.
