Michael Stocks YouTube Consumer Marketing Lead, Google

Michael spent the first few years of his career working client-side for an online book retailer, followed by an online stockbroker. Building on that experience, he switched to the agency-side of the equation, to help start boutique digital agency Young Wisdom. He spent his time developing digital marketing strategies, bringing in new accounts and running campaigns for a growing client base.

Michael joined Google in Sydney to work on Ads Marketing for Australia & NZ. Potentially the result of watching too much Mad Men, he then decided to trade in the surf for the snow and work on YouTube globally out of the New York office. He recently moved home to run marketing for YouTube's consumer business across Australia & New Zealand.

He was named in B&T Magazine's 30 Under 30 for 2016 and represented Australia at the Cannes Young Lions competition in 2017.
