Leah Harris Executive Producer - Original Podcasts, Spotify AUNZ

Leah Harris is an Executive Producer at Spotify and is responsible for the development of Original Podcast content for the audio streaming platform in Australia & New Zealand.

Within her role, she has led the development and execution of Spotify AUNZ’s most successful Originals such as The Inspired Unemployed Podcast which was the #4 ranked podcast in 2022 and Who is Daniel Johns? which charted in 13 countries and peaked at #1 on Spotify’s podcast charts. Passionate about harnessing young local talent, Leah also led the Make Waves creator program in 2022, designed to teach social-first, Gen Z creators how to become podcasters.

Leah has a wealth of production experience having begun her career delivering large scale entertainment & sporting events, such as the London 2012 Olympic Games Opening Ceremony and the Doha Tribecca Film Festival. More recently, Leah worked at Viacom as a Production Executive for both the MTV and Comedy Central platforms in Australia and New Zealand.

When she is not listening to podcasts, Leah is advocating for women in production and is passionate about giving a voice to diversity within the industry.
