Katrina de Jersey is a senior global strategist and adviser specialising in strategic communications, global positioning, reputation, crisis and stakeholder readiness for sport organisations, major events, governments and host cities.
For more than 25 years Katrina has lived and worked in Australia, NZ, Canada, France, Qatar, China, the UK, the UAE and Russia, always at the intersection of global sport, government, media, diplomacy and public trust. Her portfolio includes Olympic bids and Games, FIFA World Cups, Commonwealth Games, Rugby World Cups, Asian Games and United Nations Climate Conferences, as well as the NSW Premier's Department, City of Sydney, and most recently, Destination NSW.
Katrina advises leaders on navigating complex political, cultural and reputational environments and converting major-event ambition into clear, deliverable strategy that bolsters the nation's narrative. As a former journalist, she identifies risks and opportunities early, aligns diverse stakeholders and develops strategies that protect public trust while creating commercial, social and diplomatic value.
Katrina is the Australian Ambassador for the Global Sports Innovation Center, headquartered in Madrid, and she is the Sport Lead for French-Australian Women in Business, working with the Embassy of France in Australia. She is also a recognised advocate for women and girls in sport.
