Jono Harrison Artist & Label Partnership Lead, Spotify AUNZ
Jono Harrison is the Artist & Label Partnership Lead at Spotify, responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the artist community and their labels, enabling stronger value exchange to ultimately connect audiences and artists, empowering the local creative community.
Within his role, Jono has led a number of successful artist projects including the podcast Who Is Daniel Johns? which charted in 13 countries and peaked at #1 on Spotify’s podcast charts, and led the global partnership with Tame Impala creating an interactive edition of their fourth studio album, ‘The Slow Rush’. Jono is heavily involved in advocating for the First Nations artist community, dedicated to creating more spaces for music by emerging First Nations artists and leads Spotify’s partnership with AAM Co-Pilot Program, mentoring emerging artist managers.
Prior to Spotify, Jono held a number of roles in music and radio, having worked at Mushroom Group as Radio & Streaming Manager, promoting Mushroom Group's label and touring acts to Australian radio and streaming services. Prior to this he spent several years at triple j, where he produced the Like A Version segment, was Executive Producer of Breakfast with Matt and Alex, and picked up a 2016 ARIA nomination for their comedy album, 'Play It Out'.
