Jane Fernandez is an accomplished C-suite sports executive and major events leader with an outstanding track record in strategy, commercial negotiations, bidding, and the delivery of world-class international sporting events.
Throughout her career, Jane has led the development and execution of complex strategic, commercial, and operational plans, successfully securing and delivering high-profile events from bid through to legacy.
Jane led Australia's successful bid to host the FIFA Women's World Cup and, as Chief Operating Officer (Australia) for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023, played a pivotal role in delivering what is widely regarded as the most successful and transformative edition of the tournament in its history.
She is currently serving as Interim Deputy CEO for the Netball World Cup Sydney 2027, where she is helping shape the vision and delivery of another landmark global sporting event.
