Dr Jackson Ryan is a multi-award-winning science journalist from Adelaide, Australia. He works as a freelance journalist covering science misconduct and research culture,
as well as video games. His work appears in publications such as The New York Times, The Guardian, The Saturday Paper, The Monthly and Nature.
Jackson serves as the President of the Science Journalists Association of Australia, a title he has held since September 2023. He was awarded the 2022 Eureka Prize for Science Journalism for a suite of seven stories on Antarctica, climate change and Australia's ambitions on the continent.
