Hannah Nicklin (producer and researcher for Thisison) is a theatre maker, game designer, producer, and academic. She is an advocate of pay-what-you-can forms, notably for the performance night ‘Performance in the Pub’, and her research interests lie in enabling new conversations around value, and enabling stronger multiple economies of value to emerge in an age of diminishing content-scarcity. She speaks at events about theatre and digital technology; lectures at universities around the country, and works with individuals and companies on arts and digital. She recently completed a PhD in performance in the digital age. As a maker Hannah has engaged with digitally-influenced pervasive work, collaborating with companies such as Slung Low, Hoipolloi, Third Angel, Pilot Theatre, Hide&Seek, Fierce Festival, and Forest Fringe.
