Corinne Fitzgerald Research Co-ordinator, Swiss Re Institute
Corinne Fitzgerald has worked for Swiss Re for two years. She came on board in the formation stages of an innovation team designed to give Swiss Re an outside in perspective on potential disruptors to the reinsurance value chain. Corinne managed the partnerships for the team, both internationally and domestically, whose stakeholders included NGOs, not- for- profits and corporates, amongst others. She created and managed the ecosystem that contributed to the success of the team; most notably, she has been headhunted as a speaker and panellist on topics such as corporate/ startup collaboration.
Corinne has since moved across to the Swiss Re Institute as a Research Co-ordinator. Working closely with Daniel Ryan, Head of Research, she is managing UK based partnerships with universities such as Oxford and Cambridge and institutes such as the Turing Institute. Delving more into the content side of the partnerships, Corinne is currently managing the Swiss Re/ Digital Catapult Pit Stop, a workshop that is looking at electronic health records and how they can be used in diagnostic and preventative medicine.
