With more than 24 years of experience in the global visitor attractions industry, Chris has built a career designing, delivering and scaling world-class experiences across theme parks, visitor attractions and immersive entertainment venues. His international career began in the United Kingdom before relocating to Australia, where he continued his 17-year career with Merlin Entertainments, one of the world's leading attractions and entertainment companies. Throughout his career, he has led teams and operations responsible for welcoming millions of guests annually, helping create memorable experiences that inspire, entertain and connect people through shared moments of discovery.
In December 2025, Chris proudly joined Museum of Illusions to lead the Australian debut of the globally recognised brand, overseeing the launch of the first Museum of Illusions location in Australia. Located in the heart of Sydney on George Street, Museum of Illusions Sydney invites guests to step beyond the ordinary and into a world where nothing is quite as it seems. Through immersive installations, mind-bending exhibits and interactive experiences, the museum challenges perception, sparks curiosity and encourages visitors to see the world from a new perspective.
Under Chris's leadership, Museum of Illusions Sydney has quickly established itself as one of Sydney's most mind-bending visitor experiences, captivating guests through immersive exhibits that blur the line between reality and illusion. The museum is also proud to host the official opening reception for the REMIX Summit Sydney 2026, bringing together innovators, creators and leaders from across culture, technology and the experience economy.
Passionate about the future of immersive experiences, Chris is a strong advocate for the visitor attractions industry and Sydney's visitor experience economy. He believes the most impactful experiences do more than entertain, they inspire curiosity, create emotional connections and leave lasting memories. His work focuses on how immersive attractions can successfully blend storytelling, creativity and human interaction with operational and commercial excellence to create meaningful experiences that resonate long after a visit ends, while contributing to the cultural and economic vitality of cities.
