With more than 25 years' experience in shopping centre, retail and placemaking marketing, Belinda Daly is a passionate advocate for creating vibrant destinations where businesses and communities thrive. As the founder of The Marketing Edit and her previous experience working with Lend Lease, Stockland, Walker Corporation and AMP Capital Shopping Centres, she has led marketing, branding and placemaking strategies for some of Australia's leading retail and mixed-use destinations, helping to increase visitation, strengthen customer engagement and drive commercial success.
Belinda is currently the District Coordinator for the Balmain Rozelle district and Vice-President of the Balmain Rozelle Chamber of Commerce, where she has played a pivotal role in transforming the Chamber into one of the state's fastest-growing business networks, growing membership to more than 200 businesses in just a few years. Through strategic marketing, advocacy, destination campaigns and community partnerships, she is committed to supporting local businesses and enhancing the economic vitality of Balmain Rozelle.
During COVID, brought on by a need to connect the community and create a storytelling platform, Belinda co-founded the community magazine Darling Magazine (Balmain Rozelle), which has published 22 editions over the last five years, and has recently launched the Hornsby & Surrounds Magazine.
Belinda is Vice Chairperson at Inner West disability, aged care, and community services organisation Together2. Belinda was recognised as the 2024 Local Woman of the Year for the Balmain Electorate in NSW.
