Agnès Abastado Deputy Director of Digital & Head of Digital Development, Musée d'Orsay
Agnès Abastado holds an engineering degree from Télécom ParisTech and a master's degree in multimedia creation and production. She has more than 15 years of experience in the creation and management of digital projects. She started her career at Publicis Modem France in 2008 before joining the Monnaie de Paris (the French Mint) in 2012 to manage ticketing, multimedia and digital content projects for the opening of the Quai Conti exhibitions and museum. In 2019, she joins the Digital Africa association as coordinator of programs, communications and marketing, based in Dakar, Senegal.
At the beginning of 2022, she has joined the Établissement public des musées d'Orsay et de l'Orangerie as Deputy Director of Digital and Head of the Digital Development department. Agnès Abastado works alongside Hélène Charbonnier - the digital director - to define the digital strategy of the institution. Together with her teams, she designs, develops and distributes the two museums' multimedia and innovative digital offer, both on site and online, in terms of permanent collections, cultural programming and digital mediation with the public. In particular, the digital development department is in charge of social networks, website editing, audiovisual productions and co-productions, innovative productions and co-productions (VR, AR, MR, NFT, Métavers, etc.).
Agnès Abastado is also the contact person for digital issues in the context of the institution's CSR policy.
