RBGE is a world-renowned centre for plant science and education. They approached REMIX Agency to help identify new commercial revenue streams, and opportunities to engage new audiences with their rich scientific content.
REMIX Agency led a full-day workshop for senior management to assess their assets and identify new opportunities. We prioritised 10 commercial recommendations, each with the potential to generate new revenue streams whilst enhancing the visitor experience of the gardens.
A key element of assessing cultural assets is to view them in the context of the wider local environment – in RGBE’s case, the vibrant cultural hub of Edinburgh. By working together with other organisations, and viewing the customer journey through the city and beyond (e.g. walkers heading into the Highlands), we can identify a greater number of opportunities for engagement.
