Andrew Miller joined Guardian Media Group in August 2009 as chief financial officer and was appointed chief executive officer in July 2010. Since then, Andrew has expanded the Guardian's global operations, successfully scaled and transformed its core business, and raised over £600m in cash from the sale of its majority stake in Trader Media Group, putting the Guardian - now the world's third largest newspaper website, with over 100 million unique browsers a month - in a position of financial security and strength for generations to come. He was previously group chief financial officer of Trader Media Group. Andrew has also worked at Pepsico's FritoLay division, Bass PLC and Procter & Gamble. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, having gained his accountancy qualification with Price Waterhouse.
