Each year, the British Council hosts The Edinburgh Showcase to profile a select group of theatre productions to a global audience of industry buyers. REMIX Agency was asked to reimagine the digital presence for this, providing a central platform (online plus app) for delegates, participants and the general public.
REMIX Agency were commissioned to integrate video, HD stills, social, press and reviews for each performance, creating a common language for disparate theatre companies. The App and online delegates area enables users to store notes and easily access the schedule and additional information beyond the publicly accessible frontend.
Engaging online content is critical to the success of virtually all web projects, so design and page structure is in turn an essential consideration. As devices evolve, and new content types and platforms emerge, is it important to stay abreast of trends in content whilst designing a technical solution that can easily respond to a wide range of presentation options.
