Since 2009, Caralyn Spector has been the Arts Policy Advisor for the National Endowment for the Arts –an independent federal agency located in Washington, DC. As a member of the senior management team, Caralyn sees it all – from program building to internal and external policy development. She works with artists, arts organizations, government agencies, and leaders across the country to help foster better understanding of the arts and culture ecosystem and the value of the arts in the US.

Caralyn is a Philly native, a DC resident and a life-long New Yorker.
