Megan Wastell is Senior Vice President, Global Creative, for Merlin Entertainments, Europe’s largest and the world’s second-largest visitor attraction operator. There she leads the creative team who work across Merlin’s 140+ global attractions, partnering with a range of IPs including LEGO, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Magic Light Entertainment and HASBRO.
A former Sky and MTV executive, Megan joined Merlin from her previous role as Director of Products & Podcasts at London’s Global Radio, Europe’s largest commercial radio company.
She has more than 20 years of experience in the media and entertainments industry, with previous roles including Head of Creative Strategy for Sky Creative, Sky’s 300+ strong in-house creative agency, where she led the creative thinking behind channel rebrands, on-air positioning, and through-the-line creative for all Sky Channels. Prior to Sky, Megan ran the mobile division of MTV Entertainment Group in New York.
