Selena Griffith Senior Lecturer at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW Australia

Selena Griffith is a Senior Lecturer at the College of Fine Arts, UNSW Australia. She has had a successful commercial career in Design Management, working for a number of Global Brands, and as an entrepreneur (www.grifinkites.com) pioneering wind powered extreme sports. Her passions are design, design management, design thinking, social innovation, cross disciplinary collaboration, whole systems change making, social entrepreneurship, sustainability, leadership and education.
Selena is hands on in her approach and practices action research methods through her roles as an academic, practitioner, Local Government Councillor representing the North Ward of Pittwater (www.pittwater.nsw.gov.au), CoFounder of Social Innovation Sydney (www.socialinnovationsydney.org), as a researcher and educator in Social Design Sydney (http://socialdesignsydney.com) and through leading by example with her own projects (www.vanuatuproject.com and www.greenusup.com). Selena is passionate about developing resilient communities with capacity for change-making using whole systems approaches to developing, delivering and sharing knowledge about local solutions to global problems.
